Outokumpu’s thin strip Kloster in Sweden has started its expansion project with an investment cost of some €55 million, according to information on the website of Outokumpu.
Kloster's capacity will be increased by 50 percent when the thicknesses will down to 0.12mm in the annealed condition and widths up to 1,100mm from 830mm.
“Before the current investment, we had reached our limits of growth and meeting the Group goals,” says Kloster’s General Manager Petter Eriksson.
