300 series stainless prices to raise again

Till April 22, nickel price still remains at the highest level. Taiwan stainless steel mills are very likely to rise again in May.
The expected increase is more than US$301.66/mt and could reach at the margin of US$361.99 - 452.49/mt.
Due to the rising price in 300 series, many buyers are convinced to use 200 series as substitutes.
Some mills have already reduced the 300 series output and increased production for 200 and 400 series in order to offset higher price of nickel, according to the market news.
